There are three main modes of transportation: taxi-car/minibus, Ferry & Charter Planes.

To get from one county to the other, ferries transport travelers in their vehicles. There are also two major bridges: The Berbice bridge connects Berbice and Demerara and the Demerara Harbor Bridge (the 4th longest floating bridge in the world) connects West Bank Demerara to East Bank Demerara. http://harbourbridge.gov.gy/toll.html.
